I got rid of my things and had an epiphany
Getting ready to move across the country has forced me to question every object, article of clothing, kitchen item, electronic, and book with a critical eye and ask it, “do I really need you?” My answer to most has been a resounding “no.” Here is the epiphany I’ve come to over the last 8 weeks:
When you have less stuff, you have less stuff to tie you down, you have less stuff to clean,
You have less stuff to organize, less stuff to lose, less stuff to worry about.
You spend less time caring for your things.
You spend less money buying things.
You need less.
When you need less, you need to make less.
When you need to make less…
What can’t you do?
